Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning that any country, including the United Kingdom, will become Iran’s ‘legitimate target if it assists in US military operations. An IRGC spokesperson gave this warning in a speech given to Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB recently. Aljazeera news.
The spokesperson said, whether a country is the United Kingdom or the countries of the Persian Gulf coast, if they cooperate in the US attack on Iran, then they will definitely become the target of IRGC. Referring to the role of the United Kingdom in particular, he said that recently US B-1 bombers used UK airfields to attack Iran.
IRGC spokesperson also said, “if they cooperate with the United States in any way, they will become our specific and legitimate targets.”
It should be noted that just two weeks before this warning, the UK government enacted a law to list the IRGC as a terrorist organization. Under the new security law, a person who supports or supports the IRGC can face up to 14 years in prison in the UK.
