Today 27 September is World Tourism Day. This year the theme of the day is ‘Digital programs and artificial intelligence’ to redesign tourism. Tourism Day will be celebrated simultaneously in all districts including Dhaka.
On the occasion of the day, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has planned colorful events across the country. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam has ordered to celebrate the day simultaneously in all districts including the capital this year.
Earlier, the minister gave this order in the meeting held last Thursday at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism to prepare for the celebration of World Tourism Day and formulate a detailed program.
Minister Afroza Khanam said, this time we want to celebrate World Tourism Day with great enthusiasm through various programs across the country. There will be an exhibition of indigenous culture to bring the country’s tourism to the world court.
The government is working to make the country’s tourism industry more known in the global arena by organizing the World Tourism Day. The minister also sought the active cooperation of the private stakeholders of the tourism sector to implement this goal.
