Iran threatens to retaliate against US and Israeli installations if power plants are attacked

If Iran’s power plants are targeted, the country’s military has threatened to counterattack all energy infrastructure connected to the United States and Israel in the Middle East.

Iran’s Khatam Al-Ambia Central Command spokesman Ebrahim Zolfagari said Iran would also attack desalination plants and information technology infrastructure linked to the United States and Israel.

US President Donald Trump has threatened to attack Iran’s power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened within 48 hours. After his threat, such a warning message was given by Iran.

Meanwhile, Fars News Agency mentioned that the late head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, had earlier warned that if Iran’s power transmission line (grid) is attacked, the entire region (Middle East) will be without electricity within half an hour ‘’.
