Trump’s ultimatum to open the Strait of Hormuz, how much more time is in Iran’s hands

US President Donald Trump has set a deadline for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz. He warned that if it is not opened within this period, the United States will destroy Iran.

Trump clarified his position in a post on his own social media ‘Truth Social’. He said, ‘from this very moment to the next 48 hours without any ’ threat ‘Iran will have to fully open this waterway.

According to GMT time, Trump made that post yesterday, March 21 (Saturday) at 11:44 PM. Accordingly, Iran is getting until 11:44 pm tomorrow (3:14 pm on March 23 (Monday) (3:14 pm on March 24, Tehran time) to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Note that the time gap between GMT and Bangladesh is 6 hours. Accordingly, the deadline for Trump’s ultimatum will be 5:44 am on March 24 (Tuesday) according to Bangladesh time.
