Pakistan Navy has rescued 18 sailors from a commercial vessel from the North Arabian Sea, including Bangladeshis. The rescued have been taken to Karachi for better treatment. Dawn news.
The country’s army reported the information on Friday (April 10).
According to them, the Navy quickly reached there when a signal of help was sent from the ship named ‘Gold Autumn’. Later, 18 sailors were rescued from the ship and taken to Karachi, where they are being treated.
However, the Pakistan Army has not yet given any details about why the ship sought help.
The recovered vessel has been identified as ‘Gold Autumn’, a statement said. Among the sailors are citizens of Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia. They have been safely rescued and taken to Karachi and are being given necessary treatment.
The statement also said, ‘The rescued sailors have been taken to Karachi for better treatment and subsequent return to their respective countries.’
