Hezbollah spokesman and member of parliament Ibrahim Musabi said a ‘’ ceasefire in Lebanon could come into effect soon with the efforts of Iran and regional countries. This was stated in a report of the news agency Reuters.
In addition, two senior Lebanese officials confirmed to Reuters on condition of anonymity that efforts are underway for a ceasefire in Lebanon. However, they could not give any detailed information about when this ceasefire will start or how long it will last.
Both officials said the ceasefire would likely depend on how long the ongoing ceasefire between the US and Iran lasts.
