Since the beginning of the Iran war, US President Donald Trump has been giving threats and ultimatums to the country one after another. Sometimes he threatened to paralyze the country, and sometimes to blow up power plants or bridges. He has also fixed several rounds of time to make an agreement with this.
Let’s take a look at the ultimatums given by Trump to Iran
March 21: Trump gives Iran a 48-hour ultimatum. He said that if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened, the United States will attack Iran’s power plants.
March 23: Trump pushed back his deadline by another five days, citing progress in talks with Tehran.
March 26: A new 10-day deadline was announced, which was scheduled to expire on April 6 at 8 pm.
April 4: Trump again reminded of the April 6 deadline, saying Iran has only 48 hours left for the deal.
April 5: Trump pushed the deadline back another day to the evening of April 7. He warned that if Iran’s leaders do not take any action, there will be no power plants or bridges left in the country. Later that day, he announced on social media, the deadline is Tuesday at 8 pm!
April 6: Trump told reporters that this deadline is final and there is no possibility of delaying it. He also claimed that it is possible to crush Iran in just one night.
April 7: About 12 hours before the deadline for the ultimatum, Trump wrote on social media with a stern warning that an entire civilization would disappear tonight.
